ARTWORK & COLLECTOR POLICIES — AZULMA STUDIO

  1. ORIGINAL ARTWORK & LIMITED EDITIONS

Each cyanotype from Azulma Studio is a handmade, light-exposed artwork created by artist Rosy Ruiz, using botanical specimens, sunlight, and photographic processes on paper.

Because these works are made through organic, analog processes, subtle variations in color, tonal density, botanical impressions, and deckled paper edges are natural characteristics of the work. These details reflect the beauty of a process shaped by light, time, and nature.

Unless otherwise specified, artwork is sold unframed. Edition sizes, dimensions, materials, and other relevant details will be provided in individual artwork listings. We make every effort to represent our artwork accurately, although colors may appear slightly different depending on your screen and display settings.

  1. SHIPPING & PACKAGING

Ready-to-ship prints generally ship within 3–5 business days of purchase. Processing times are estimates and do not include carrier transit time. We will contact you if we anticipate a significant delay.

Prints are packaged using appropriate protective materials, such as acid-free glassine sleeves and reinforced flat mailers or protective mailing tubes, depending on the artwork's size and format.

Orders may be shipped through USPS, UPS, or another suitable carrier. Tracking information will be provided by email when available. Shipping costs, delivery estimates, and applicable charges will be displayed at checkout or communicated before an order is finalized.

Once a package has been handed to the carrier, delivery timing is outside our direct control. Contact us if your shipment appears delayed or lost so we can help investigate.

  1. RETURNS, REPLACEMENTS & DAMAGED ARTWORK

Because our prints are handmade and may be produced in limited editions, all sales are final except where otherwise required by applicable law or where a return, replacement, or refund is expressly offered under this policy.

Please review artwork descriptions, dimensions, framing details, and photographs carefully before purchasing. Contact us with questions before ordering.

If artwork arrives damaged, contact us within 14 days of delivery at [your contact email]. Include your order number and clear photographs of the artwork, packaging, and visible damage. We will review the information and contact you about an appropriate resolution. Depending on the circumstances and availability, we may offer a replacement, a comparable alternative with your agreement, or a refund to your original payment method. If an identical replacement is unavailable, we will discuss the options before proceeding.

Retain the original packaging until the issue is resolved, as it may be needed to investigate a shipping claim. Nothing in this policy limits rights you may have under applicable law.

  1. COPYRIGHT & REPRODUCTION RIGHTS

All original artwork, photographs, images, written content, and other creative materials displayed on the Azulma Studio website are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Copyright remains with the artist or other relevant rights holder unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Purchasing an original artwork or limited-edition print transfers ownership of that physical item to the buyer. It does not transfer copyright or grant permission to reproduce, distribute, commercially exploit, or create adaptations of the artwork.

Artwork and website content may not be reproduced, scanned, republished, adapted, or used commercially without prior written permission from the relevant rights holder, except where permitted by law. Collectors are welcome to enjoy, display, and share photographs of purchased artwork for personal, noncommercial purposes, with appropriate credit where practical.

For licensing, reproduction permissions, collaborations, or commercial inquiries, contact Azulma Studio.

  1. WORKSHOPS & EVENT RESERVATIONS

Free events and RSVPs: Registration helps us prepare materials and organize space. If you can no longer attend, please let us know as soon as possible so your place can be offered to someone else.

Paid workshops: Cancellations received at least 72 hours before the scheduled workshop start time are eligible for a full refund. For cancellations received less than 72 hours before the workshop, refunds are not guaranteed. Contact us if unexpected circumstances prevent attendance, and we will consider the available options.

Registrations are intended for the person named on the booking. Contact us in advance if you would like to transfer your place to someone else.

If Azulma Studio cancels a paid workshop, participants will be offered a full refund or, if preferred and available, a transfer to another date. If a workshop is rescheduled, we will notify registered participants and explain the available options.

Please arrive at the time specified in your booking confirmation and follow any safety instructions provided during the workshop.
